Step 1:
Rough black and white sketches
This is to show the basic layout quickly. Unless the client is very specific about placement of the image
elements, I will usually submit up to 3 rough sketches.

Step 2:
Finalized black and white sketch
A more detailed sketch will be produced that shows facial expressions and mood.

Step 3:
Color rough
Areas will be filled in with solid colors. From here decisions can be made about clothing, patterns and
lighting.

Step 4:
Color final
Faces and all details will be redrawn and refined. Highlights and shadows will be added, if applicable.

Step 5: Sending the file
Once the artwork is approved, I will send it to you either on a disk or via the internet. Disks can be prepped
for either Mac, PC or both.

All sketches and final artwork are drawn using a PC computer and a Wacom electronic drawing tablet. Files are
submitted via e-mail for your review as JPG files. PDF files may also be supplied, depending on your preference. I
also have a Mac, so I am familiar with the needs of that platform.
